Shameless Self Promotion

I've learned a few years ago(Thanks Larry) that just doing great Tattoos isn't enough to get your name out there, and get noticed. Now I've never been an "in your face" kinda guy. I can proudly say I've learned to become one.

I Shamelessly promote myself all over the place. twitter, Myspace, Facebook, The Rinse Cup, Inkednation, and so many more it's ridiculous. I've been in numerous Tattoo Magazines. I work Conventions all over the country. Hopefully this year all over the world.

It's definitely a strange emotion to think your special/important enough for people to know who you are, and what you do. I still think that most of the "Status" websites are silly unless your trying to sell something. I see the therapeutic use in most of these outlets though. When you write something down it becomes "real" for most people.

I write goals down all the time. I make lists of funny things, or things that make me wonder. That stems from my Comedy Classes I took.

Well for whatever reason you use these sites. use them proudly and yell at the world "right now I am dropping a deuce! " or whatever silliness you are doing at that exact moment. There's no shame in it. someone cares.

Here's some serious Shameless self promoting;

I have been Tattooing since 1992. I've been around the block a few times but I strongly believe I found my permanent home. I Tattoo at Waukesha Tattoo Company in Waukesha, Wisconsin with two very Talented Artists, and just all around good people. there's some great Artists out there! I appreciate anyone that looks at my work, and chooses me as their Artist. Thanks so much if you are already a client. if your not I hope to have you as a client soon!!

Shameless Self promotion for the Mudda Fuggin Win!!!

Growing as an Artist

Well, what can I say. Life has definitely been a hardcore roller coaster for me. Good thing I love roller coasters!!!

I've been Tattooing since 1992. Long before they became TV show fodder, and kind of mainstream. I've gone through many periods of growth, and moments of despair. Thing is Tattooing is a very emotional thing. the Stress of knowing what your doing on a persons Skin is permanent is pretty terrifying. I am thrilled that I have powered through all the tough times, and moments of self doubt. I love what I do beyond belief. I love everything about the Tattooing world.

I have a few bitches but, I believe in the "if you have nothing good to say, keep your mouth shut" I try to keep all my gripes as an inner monologue. Thanks to the many voices in my head I let them rant away!

the last 3 years have been the most interesting. I've worked with some real "special" people, and I've worked with some very inspiring folks. Right now I've had the pleasure to join forces with 2 other Tattoo veterans that share the same Ideals I do about how a Tattoo shop should be run. Hence the Birth of Waukesha Tattoo Company!!

I am also ready to shake up how I do things artistically. it's time for a growth spurt! Growing as an Artist is frustrating, and exciting all at the same time.

I'm off. I have some Tattoos to do. Sundays I work appointment only. Usually for those that come from long distances. Today both of my clients are coming from over 100 miles away to see me. What a compliment that is.

Thanks!!

Waukesha Tattoo Company

Waukesha Tattoo Company was created by 3 very talented Artists that had different Ideas on how a Tattoo shop should be run. So Waukesha Tattoo was born.

I can really only speak for myself, but I am sick of the poor customer service at most Tattoo shops. Clients are treated like they should be glad they came in. I think it should be the other way around. I can live an amazing life because of anyone that allows me to Tattoo them. I appreciate the trust my clients give me to mark their Skin for life.

I also am tired of the severe lack of advertising, or the willingness to get involved in the local Art/music scene. Hell, even just getting involved in the local community in general.

I will be writing more later. I have a Tattoo to do!!!

More random thoughts, rants and even some ironic insights to come. Maybe even some comedy.

Enjoy!
