Now who can't hang with the big boys??
Seems funny that I was always the "unpopular' one for not partying like a rock star, not doing cocaine or crack or Meth. Now I feel even more left out because now they all hang out at AA meetings, dead or in Prison. I'm such a loser....

Marathon driving.
OK, I have to vent a little. I don't usually like to be an Angry person. Here goes.
So I'm driving to work this morning. My usual half hour early. I get into Waukesha and there's a Marathon going on. The Officers have traffic stopped. I sat there for 20 minutes and didn't move an inch. Now I understand Marathon's are a good thing, and keep people active and healthy. Also they're usually for some Charity which I am completely for. Seriously though, why didn't they just close the streets, and have a plan to keep traffic moving. I just don't see the logic.
Figure it out! Just because your running a Marathon, doesn't mean the rest of the world has to stop, and be late for work.
Ridiculous!!

Selective brain Injury

Today I am appreciating the value of a day off. There are things I could do, and be "productive" but I'm not. today is a me day. a Brain break if you will.
A mental vacation. I love what I do, I love the people I work with, and clients alike. Sometimes you just need to shut off.
So, remember the sound when Obi Wan Kenobi disabled the tractor beam in Episode 4 a new hope. That's what my brain is doing right this moment.
See you tomorrow world, when I'll be well rested and ready to kick some ass again.
This is Rich Cseri signing out of regular life, Hasta la manana!!

Here's a Status update from me, and the conversation that follows. Thought I'd share it. I took out the last names of the folks that commented.
Rich Cseri: I Just had the displeasure of watching American idol, can someone tell me why everything turns into a god damn sob story. when you apply for a job are you required to list your dysfunctions, and your troubled childhood?? no, So shut the fu@k up and sing, or try to sing.
Shelley- Don't bother watching until everyone on there can really "sing", until the real competition (if that even exists) - everything now had been effected by the last 8 seasons.
James- That show is such a F@ckin Joke, waste of time, i
Id rather watch one of the pathetic reality shows like jersey shore or some bullsh&t to that extent
10 hours ago ·
Rich Cseri- Oh god, I watched 5 minutes of Jersey Shore and forgot how to tie my Shoes. It literally made me stupid. What make's me sad is that people put these dipsh$ts on a pedastel. when they're nothing but a bunch of rich kids that act like morons. What this country, and our impressionable youth need are some people to look up to. Some Role Models. I sadly enough can't think of one person on television right now that fits that role.
Jason- Make a run at another Tattoo Reality show, you would be an excellent role model for all the kids to follow.
Joy- Amen to that!!!
Rich Cseri- No way, they'd make us all act out fake drama, and do stupid sh!t. a day to day at a good Tattoo shop is actually kind of boring. No drama is a good thing. If I could totally control it, it would be more like a Learning Channel show. discuss History, and past Artists, and how people should seek out an Artist. Not building a skate ramp in the lobby, and drama between the counter person, and the Artists. Kat Von D is an embarrassment to the Tattoo Industry, and a horrible spokeswoman for us.
Rich Cseri And as for me being the Role Model, all I do is work a regular job(Tattooing is a regular Job), Love my Wife, and Kids, and play some video games. I'm just a normal guy, that has a cool job. that's all.
Jason- lmfao maybe the Travel Channel would be more fitting for your story bro.
James- Make your own tattoo reality show, but dont make it as bad as Miami Ink, show some actuall work, and not just 5 minutes of walk in clients. Bring the cam and show you going from convention to convention or some sh!t, dont just have it take place in the shop all the time, make it interesting. That dumb Blonde b#tch from La Ink is a f*cking retard, she doesnt know what she is doing and annoying as hell. She gots to go.
Rich Cseri I do get around a lot. Not anymore though, I am home. Waukesha Tattoo is the final tattoo shop for me.

Anti-Social Networking.
I gotta tell you, this social networking as a marketing tool is a great way to get your stuff out there, and get people to notice you.
I know it's important, I know it's a must. Some days I just don't even want to look at a computer screen! Ha! I appreciate my Clients more than anyone can know. I want to be accessible to everyone that is interested in getting a Tattoo from me. It's all part of great Customer Service. One of our main goals here at Waukesha Tattoo Company.
Bit of advice to the folks that write the social networking sites. make them user friendly. I, just like everyone else that's online has a good idea how to use every site out there, but I don't like having to spend an hour trying to figure out how to edit my profile, or upload photos.
Meh, this is just a little rant, I love my Job, I love my clients. I'll keep doing whatever it takes to be available, and easily located. Even it means an extra 4 hours a day checking my multiple e-mails, and multiple social networking sites. Even Blogging is one of the ways to get your name out there. Here's a little secret. I enjoy writing them, just don't expect them to be all serious and introspective. One of my favorite things to do in life is laugh, and laugh loudly. one of my Hobbies is writing, and potentially performing Comedy.
This rant is inspired by my last 3 hours on the computer checking myspace, inkednation, linkedin, naymz, twitter, my aol e-mails, my gmail e-mails, and of course the all addicting facebook. I haven't even thought about getting back on Tattoonow.com or Tattooartists.org but I really should.
Anyway, get a hold of me in any one of the many ways I can be reached. Even to just tell me I'm a jerk. Ha! Just get a hold of me, and I'll do my best to make you laugh, or do some killer Tattoos on you.
Peace everyone. Have a great day. I know I will.

My Life is a Legoland adventure
These last few weeks, hell Months have been an amazing trip. I met Barry Jaeger and George Wang from "a former Tattoo Shop" We all had different Ideas on how a Tattoo shop should be run. So collectively we decided to open Waukesha Tattoo company. I'm thrilled to be part of an amazing adventure and a hell of a Tattoo crew. We have so many Ideas, and made so much progress in our vision. it's so nice to get into work, and feel the positive vibe. I can actually feel forward motion with this Shop.
Art has been a big part of my life, and with Waukesha Tattoo Company it's just becoming a bigger part. I can't wait to see what the future brings. Because it's going to rule!
I know me ranting about how Happy and positive I am is going to make everyone sick. So grab your puke bucket and enjoy the ride!!!!

Shameless Self Promotion
I've learned a few years ago(Thanks Larry) that just doing great Tattoos isn't enough to get your name out there, and get noticed. Now I've never been an "in your face" kinda guy. I can proudly say I've learned to become one.
I Shamelessly promote myself all over the place. twitter, Myspace, Facebook, The Rinse Cup, Inkednation, and so many more it's ridiculous. I've been in numerous Tattoo Magazines. I work Conventions all over the country. Hopefully this year all over the world.
It's definitely a strange emotion to think your special/important enough for people to know who you are, and what you do. I still think that most of the "Status" websites are silly unless your trying to sell something. I see the therapeutic use in most of these outlets though. When you write something down it becomes "real" for most people.
I write goals down all the time. I make lists of funny things, or things that make me wonder. That stems from my Comedy Classes I took.
Well for whatever reason you use these sites. use them proudly and yell at the world "right now I am dropping a deuce! " or whatever silliness you are doing at that exact moment. There's no shame in it. someone cares.
Here's some serious Shameless self promoting;
I have been Tattooing since 1992. I've been around the block a few times but I strongly believe I found my permanent home. I Tattoo at Waukesha Tattoo Company in Waukesha, Wisconsin with two very Talented Artists, and just all around good people. there's some great Artists out there! I appreciate anyone that looks at my work, and chooses me as their Artist. Thanks so much if you are already a client. if your not I hope to have you as a client soon!!
Shameless Self promotion for the Mudda Fuggin Win!!!

Growing as an Artist
Well, what can I say. Life has definitely been a hardcore roller coaster for me. Good thing I love roller coasters!!!
I've been Tattooing since 1992. Long before they became TV show fodder, and kind of mainstream. I've gone through many periods of growth, and moments of despair. Thing is Tattooing is a very emotional thing. the Stress of knowing what your doing on a persons Skin is permanent is pretty terrifying. I am thrilled that I have powered through all the tough times, and moments of self doubt. I love what I do beyond belief. I love everything about the Tattooing world.
I have a few bitches but, I believe in the "if you have nothing good to say, keep your mouth shut" I try to keep all my gripes as an inner monologue. Thanks to the many voices in my head I let them rant away!
the last 3 years have been the most interesting. I've worked with some real "special" people, and I've worked with some very inspiring folks. Right now I've had the pleasure to join forces with 2 other Tattoo veterans that share the same Ideals I do about how a Tattoo shop should be run. Hence the Birth of Waukesha Tattoo Company!!
I am also ready to shake up how I do things artistically. it's time for a growth spurt! Growing as an Artist is frustrating, and exciting all at the same time.
I'm off. I have some Tattoos to do. Sundays I work appointment only. Usually for those that come from long distances. Today both of my clients are coming from over 100 miles away to see me. What a compliment that is.
Thanks!!

Waukesha Tattoo Company
Waukesha Tattoo Company was created by 3 very talented Artists that had different Ideas on how a Tattoo shop should be run. So Waukesha Tattoo was born.
I can really only speak for myself, but I am sick of the poor customer service at most Tattoo shops. Clients are treated like they should be glad they came in. I think it should be the other way around. I can live an amazing life because of anyone that allows me to Tattoo them. I appreciate the trust my clients give me to mark their Skin for life.
I also am tired of the severe lack of advertising, or the willingness to get involved in the local Art/music scene. Hell, even just getting involved in the local community in general.
I will be writing more later. I have a Tattoo to do!!!
More random thoughts, rants and even some ironic insights to come. Maybe even some comedy.
Enjoy!
